I actually started in the first week in February but they were 4 every week since then and each month was more than €190 (5 x 38).Did your part time employment include a minimum of €38 in each of these time periods since the beginning of 2026?
OK. So I should have got 5 in April and July. It's a small outfit so payroll is done thru a package. I'll ask revenue can they correct it thru ROS before I go looking for, ahem, 'HR'. Unfortunately I have to use ROS so finding anything on that related to regular work is a jungle. If paid Monthly you insurable weeks should run 5,4,4,5,4,4,5,4,4,5,4,4.
Payroll packages are usually correct but I suppose they depend on correct input data. It's a small outfit so payroll is done thru a package
Monthly. This might be a stupid question but are you being paid monthly or every four weeks?
Then you should. Check it with your payroll.Yes but I do work for 3 hours every Thursday minimum so I believe I should get them.
This is, indeed, the issue. It's a one person operation with many hats one of which is payroll. I'm awaiting advice from revenue on how they can correct it. I'd assume they could re-enter/edit the return but given that it goes directly to revenue real-time I'm not sure they can.It could simply be an input error by whoever administers your payroll.
I have just realised that December also has 5 Thursdays in it so should this be ignored or can I add one seeing as I missed out on January ? I'm pretty sure that if you include all that you can only get 52 credits for the year anyway. If paid Monthly you insurable weeks should run 5,4,4,5,4,4,5,4,4,5,4,4.
The maximum number of credits/contributions that are reckonable for pension purposes is 52 for any one year. Even if you have more than 52 contributions/credits for a year only 52 will count for pension purposes.I'm pretty sure that if you include all that you can only get 52 credits for the year anyway.
