Package holiday in August

I'm looking to book a package holiday (2adults and two kids) for August. I dont want a DIY job but a package self catering in a resort. Naturally I'm looking for the best value around and where to book. I dont want to wait for a last minute booking but want to book in the next week or so. Tips and sites etc. needed - thanks!

if you're as near to the north as you are dublin you could do worse than look at packages ex belfast. with the recent weakness of stg you may bag a good deal
