p21 breakdown help

Hi All,

I got 3 years of p21 in the post today.

Heres the break down for 1 of them

Charged as follow: €15,145.00 @ 20% = €3,029

Tax due €3,029

On the back of page it has:

Panel 4 €
Tax credits SELF

Personal Tax Cr €1,830.00
PAYE Tax Credit €1,199.00

I would really appericate if somebody could explain this to me as I am not sure if this means I am entilted to money back ?

3,029-1,830-1,199=0 tax due. If you did not pay any tax then no refund due.
 
Effectively it means that a single person has a tax free income of €1,830 / 20% =€9,150. A PAYE taxpayer gets the same.
