Overgrown Garden (Shared Ownership)

I wish you luck...

If the gardens surrounding you are overgrown with weeds, it's going to be REALLY annoying when you struggle to get your garden looking well, and seeds from weeds in their gardens float into, and take root in yours!...

Still, the conquering of and upkeep of your garden will keep you fit!...

If you get any of those huge thistles the neighbouring gardens appear to have, just cut it to about two inches above the ground, and pour neat bleach into the remaining stem... It'll kill off the root...

Enjoy your garden, and the very best of luck, health and happiness in your new home!...

Darth...

Best thing is to taken matters in your own hands and go to the local DIY shop, get some good weed killer and spray it over the log, it takes 2 weeks to take effect, its the house you fell in love with, not the garden. So its just a minor setback.

What you see is what you get when buying houses....you can't assume anything about gardens being cut back or even high standard cleaning if you look at other posts on the forums. When my parents bought a house years ago (privately, not that it makes any difference!) the first thing to do was to clear the forest of a little back garden!
