Out sick - Am i able to claim ?

Hello,
I am in full time employment with a bar / restaurant for 8 years now. I hurt my back about 10 days ago ( not at work). I have missed the last week of work and will miss the next week aswell.I am wondering can i claim some sort of benifits seeming i have no income. We do not get "sick day payment" at work.

if my employer does not pay sick day(s), can i use this form when its only 1 day. Only ask as these 1 day sick days could be 4/5 in a yr and its alot then, thanks for your help..

You only get paid IB from the fourth day of illness; the first three days are 'waiting days'.
