Hi,

I recently received a notice of intention to proceed (I have debts) and it's for the high court, when I rang the solicitor to get the balance of what I owed etc. They said it would all be in the civil summons but I never got one of those? Should I have gotten one? And if so should I ask for a copy of it and proof of delivery?

Thanks in advance :)

Should I have gotten one?
Yes.

And if so should I ask for a copy of it and proof of delivery?

Yes. But don't get hung up on arguing over proof of delivery once you do actually get the Summons. Focus on how you are going to address dealing with the debt.

You could also attend at the Central Office in Dublin and , with proof of i.d, ask for a copy.
