Options when registering with ROS.ie

I am a PAYE worker and I am a landlord also.

I wish to make a self-assessment of the tax I need to pay and so, I need to register with the Revenue On-Line Service (ROS):

I am carrying out Step 1. Please let me know which option from the Tax Type/Approval No. drop-down menu is appropriate for me. Income tax maybe?

The tax type should be 'Income Tax', and your PPS number goes in the other box beside it.

You will need to be registered for income tax (in addition to paye) for ROS to accept this.
If you aren't registered you will get an error of 'invalid tax type' or similar.
