Are there any reputable courses available in Project Management over 1 year by distance education, I am aware UL offer a two year programme to diploma level, but is there any entry level 1 year course on offer anywhere?

Don't know about distance courses but assuming you're talking about software then I'd make sure it's a PMI course so you can site the PMI exams. This is internationally recognised and it's the one most in demand.
