Opening with...

I am using Limewire for downloading music. I had nero as default to open all files when selected but it was to slow and I got rid of it. Is there a programme like Windows media that will quickly open a file when selected? Also, could someone define all the icons that come with downloading. Now that I got rid of nero a new icon apperas.. Little box with red and green dot.. Sorry for inexperience

icons

windows media player is normally the quickest for opening a file. Theres loads of others so off the top of my head, Real player, winmx, winamp .....


When you say icons that come with downloading, where are they? on the file or on the application? If its on the app, by moving the mouse over the icons you should get a display of what the icon does.
