Onspeed and computer fault

Help! I recently subscribed to Onspeed and ever since I have not been able to connect to Eircom in the normal way. I operate on a pay as you go basis and today I put the registration disc back on my computer and I managed to get re-connected. But on a different dial -up number. The number was 1892150150 but now the dial up number is 18900201564. Any idea why this is different? Am I charged more for this number? Any light on this subject would be great.Thanks Petit
 
Can't help you on why the number has changed. But I wouldn't worry about it. These are standard internet access numbers. 1890 is charged at the same rate as 1892 numbers i.e. Local call rate.
 
no money issues thank God but the number change is like what a porn dialler does. ring eircom and check the number does not mask a nasty international one and you have been calling international .

18900201564 is too long , by a digit so you cannot ring it nor are they any 1890 numbers beginning with 0 after the 1890
