Hi , looking for some quick advice.

I had/have an old pension from a company I worked for for a number years. I left there a couple of years back to do some contracting work , but Im now back in full time employment with a new emplooyer where Im entitled to a pension , which I'm making my own contributions to along with the new company. Fine !

My old pension is worth around 15,500euros - from my contribs and from the old company's contribs. I want to know if I can either

a) cash this old pension in , or
b) somehow join or combine it to my current new pension ??

Hopefully somebody will know or have advice. Hope to hear from you.

Thanks

When you left your previous employer you should have received 'Leaving Service Option Papers' from the Trustees of the original scheme.

If you do not have these, you should request them from the previous employer (possibly through the HR Department).

These papers will list your options regarding what you can do with the accumulated fund.
