I recently changed the oil in my Meagane (1.50DCi) can anyone tell me how to reset the oil change warning message, or do I have to speak to a friendly garage owner (know of any in my area)
Are you talking about the digital readout that comes up when you start the car? AFAIK it's always there, if the oil is ok, it looks liks:
OIL ooooo
but when it's low it goes:
OIL oo---
As far as I know it "remembers" the last warning message it gave you. You can reset it by pushing and holding in the reset button. Can't remember which button is the reset button though - it's one of the ones on the stalk. Check your manual, or one of the online resources if you don't have your manual.
