My partner and I would like to get a mortgage this year. We do not have a deposit but I think we may be able to obtain a loan to use as a deposit.
I have a ccj on my credit file from 2 years ago although it was satisfied after 6 months. Can you advise what our best option would be and do you think having someone act as a guarantor would prevent us from being stung by high interest rates due to my poor credit record?
