hello
We have ntl point in the house, but on unsuitable walls. The one downstairs is too far from the couch to be able to watch tv properly so we got a long scart lead and moved the tv to prefered side, we have the cable now running along the floor. I'm not sure what the best option will be, the floor is solid so we can't run it under, fireplace is in between ntl point and the tv...
So can anyone tell us what we can do? is there some kind of wireless gadget we could buy that will allow us to watch tv without the need to have the cable? we have analogue tv channels only, will getting a digital box fix the problem or do you still need the cable for that?
Thanks

I had the same problem. Got black cable instead of white and put it behind the skirting boards and glued it to the underneath of the fireplace. The hearth is black granite so you barely notice it. I don;t know if any wireless options.

Can NTL move it to the other side for you? If its near an external wall it is a straight forward job to them. They will charge you for the service but it might be better than having wires everywhere.

Thanks for the ideas, tara83 thats more or less what we have done with ours but dirt from the fireplace and the floor keeps getting in around the cable..we thought we could pull the mantlepiece out and fit it there but we are afraid of damaging it in the process (we are not very handy..)
Ntl point is on the external wall but is not were we need it.. will moving it involve making some kind of channel for the cable on the walls? I would prefer not having to do this...
Will have a look at the digisender, will this affect the picture quality?
Thanks again!
