Novice looking for info on windows & patio door

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a new window & patio door for a house we're renovating at the moment. Every place I've spoken to so far wants to come out & measure & "make to measure". But that's not what we really need as we're knocking out a back wall & re-building. So essentially I need an off the shelf window & door. Is there anywhere in Dublin area I can get these?

Appreciate any info!

Forgot to say, builder will be fitting the window & door but advised us to buy ourselves.....
 
You'll find that most suppliers make to order and therefore 'made-to-measure' is standard. The way around this would be to have your builder tell you the sizes he wants the window and door to be made to so he can build the new wall to suit.

Standard size for a patio door is usually 1800w x 2100h. Windows can be whatever you want them to be.
