Hi, we are renting out our house to an organisation that looks after people with disabilities. The lease will be between us as landlord and the organisation. The people living in the house would be one person with disability that the organisation cares for and one staff of the organisation that is the person's full time carer (24/7).

Aviva who is the current Insurer refuses to cover the house if rented out to an organisation. Do you know any Insurer who would cover in this case? Please note this is not subletting as the organisation will not be renting out to somebody else, they want the house for their own purposes.

Many thanks

Might be an idea to try a specialist broker, No connection but I am aware of charities that have used Ecclesiastical.ie for insurance for certain things. At worst they may be able to point you in the right direction. Also you should talk to the organisation in question, this must not be a new issue to them

The organisation might also be able to assist if you could go to their main insurer
