Has anybody downloaded a good countdown timer for this phone? Which one did you get?

The E65 is my new toy

I also have this phone. I'm a bit confused though...why would want to download a countdown timer??

Because it is one feature that I used a lot on my previous Nokia phones. (it's useful for some minor aspects of my work). I tried to download one from the Nokia site but I could not for some reason or other. I have sent them a mail regarding this.

I also would recommed people to download the Font Magnifier - unless you have super-duper vision.

Hi Marion,

I recently got this phone and think it is a super phone. It takes a little bit getting used to coming from a Nokia 6230i, but once you manage the menu system its great.

I now sync it with my Outlook contacts & Tasks daily and its used as a personal organiser while on the move.

So far I have not had any problems with the fonts.

The one thing I miss from it though is the Wallet function. I tried to create a file on my pc and put a password on it, but it won't open it on the phone. So I've put the phone lock on and that way at least I know the data is somewhat secured.

If you really want the wallet you can buy if from the Nokia software market for €5.


I managed to download my timer. I had received a certification error initially and I received this reply from smartphoneware.

If you get the certificate error when attempting to install some 3rd party software on your S60 3rd Edition smartphone, it means that you haven't enabled installation of unsigned SIS files. Go to Tools ->App. Manager, choose Options -> Settings and set Software installationto All and Online certif. check to Off.

I am upgrading my phone for work and the Nokia e65 is on the shortlist. One of my colleagues had one and changed it .... said that it kept dropping calls. Has anyone else had this experience.

Another question ... what is the battery life like

I have one, haven't had a dropped call yet, but battery life is poor compared to the old trusty 6310i!
