No response from property management

Hi all,

I live in a new apartment block that hasn’t been finished yet (builders are still on the site). It is managed by a company that gives us very poor service and the residents committee people do their best and put a lot of effort to make them do their job.
But recently the management company simple stopped answering our calls and there is no way we can make them respond.
Couple days ago the electricity was switch off in the common area, so there is no light at all in the corridors, even emergency exit signs do not work. The electric lock at the main door does not work as well. The postman stopped coming as the mailboxes are in compete dark.
We cannot make any contact with the management company. Builders on the site say it is not their responsibility to fix the problem. What are we to do? Any advice is most appreciated.
 
If the block is unfinished then presumably you are talking about a managing agent appointed by the builder rather than a management company as such. If this is the case the responsibility lies with the builder until the company is handed over to the purchasers and you should take it up with them.
