I was wondering if anybody has been in a situation whereby contracts were issued by the vendor's solicitor but included a clause to say that the vendor would not complete the sale until they had purchased another house.
Its a nonsense. And the purchaser is free to agree to it or not. After that, its all about negotiation, the state of the market, who wants what badly enough etc.,etc.
