Hi
Can Anyone recommend a morning weekday mass in south Dublin ?
Preferably well attended and friendly priest.

Merrion Church has 7.30am & 12 noon masses Monday to Friday. I don't know anything about the attendance there.
I've only ever been to the 9pm Sunday Mass. The latest Mass in the country.

South Dublin is a large place. Many suburban parishes have week day masses.
My mother goes most days in her local church.
 
My MIL is very fond of visiting St Teresa’s Church (Carmelites, just off Grafton St.) whenever she’s in Dublin.

I gather they say a number of masses every day.

The priests became overly friendly, and that’s part of the reason why it’s harder to find a well-attended mass these days.

If that's a euphemism then I agree with you.

In my case it was a lack of belief in the supernatural stemming from the respect for logic and critical thinking that my father gave me.

Weekday Masses were never ever well attended, even when I was a child. Neither for that matter were day time cinemas. People have to work.
