Quick question everyone. With effect from 1 May 2008, the VAT registration thresholds for small businesses will be increased from €35,000 to €37,500 in the case of services, and from €70,000 to €75,000 in the case of goods.

What is the threshold if you provide both goods & services?

If more than 10% of the sales comes from services then the lower threshold applies to all. In other words 90% or more must come from sale of goods for the higher threshold to apply.
