No you are a New Member and not a Registered User.

It's an anti-spam measure. New users are not allowed to send messages.

We get inundated with spam. You don't see it because we prevent most of it before it gets through and delete the small bit which does get through.

One of these measures is to limit private messages to established posters.

An established poster must have at least 10 messages and be registered for 30 days.

1) If you have 20 posts in 10 days, you are still a new user.
2) If you have 3 posts in 20 years, you are still a new user.

If you have been registered for at least 30 days and if you have at least 10 posts, and can't send PMs, then post here and I will sort it out.

This is my first post, and it's a question. If I am a new user, are established users still able to private message me. And if they can private message me, am I able to reply, even though I am a new user?
