Hello,
I hope someone can help me. I work in sales having returned to the industry two years ago. I get a salary of 36k plus mileage at .46c per mile from which I take fuel, insurance, service etc.(my own car) 5% pension contribution. My issue is the commission structure is very skewed and rewards long stay as opposed to actual sales. My sales are excellent but I have not received any commission to date as they system is very complicated. I did 650K sales this year...
I have had a discussion about a new job in another company. Base salary 45K, commission on all sales at a lower rate but paid on all sales from start. Smaller territory, company car, pension too I think (tbc).
Can anyone tell me with co car and new salary taking into acc BIK on car how much will I be better off by excluding commission which will be sales dependent obviously.
I am 44, male, married, kids, mortgage.
I cannot find any online tax calculator to give me an accurate read on this.
Thanks for any help!
