New Fundraising Ideas for Amateur Musical Society?

I am involved with an amateur Musical society and we are scratching our heads about how to raise much needed funds for our next show in order to pay all the bills that will come in as soon as the show comes around.
Besides all the usual types of fund raising, Race nights,Quiz nights,etc.
Does anyone out there have any new ideas for fundraising?
 
Approach a company and say you'll do a 20min set at their Xmas party if they give you €xx?
