HI - anyone have a ballpark figure on how much a new front door would cost? supply and fit - (but use lock from current door). Have a PVC door but want to change it to wooden.. thx
 
Firstly you won't be able to use the lock from your pvc door on a timber door, but to have a lock simular ask for Multi Point Locking when pricing. You may be able to use the same cylinder if you want to retain the same keys, but from a security point of view it is better to get a new cylinder and new keys
 
If your door is standard size then you should be able to pick one reasonably cheaply, it also depends on if you want sidepanels. i remember going to the dublin door store in Bluebell and one could buy a door for around 700 Euros, but of course ours wasn't standard size....
 
I just got a new door fitted yesterday
The cost of the door, accessories (knobs, knockers ,etc), fitting, panel of glass for above door and locks came to 820.

It was a wood door from Dublin door store and got the accessories from Knobs and Knockers

If you need a new frame its an extra 300
