New Domestic Water Connection

I recently paid KK council EUR 1000 which is their standard fee for a water connection. This charge is to cover all incidentals for a bog standard connection.

The water main is under a footapth covered with tarmacadam ouside my entrance. KKCC have now come back & are looking for another EUR 570 to cover the cost of reinstating the footpath.

Anything similar happen to anybody else

You're lucky! I'am ready to start new build in donegal,my development fee's are eur 6700(3k off wich is water)another eur720 to local water scheme.but worst ofall the water conection is 50 metres from my site and i have to take this down the road myself at a cost of eur 3500 approx. Total eur 10920
