Hi Guys,

Quick question I have accidentally done something weird to my MS Outlook inbox, as it only allows about 18 emails to stay in inbox and starts deleting them as new emails come in!

How can I fix this so that all my emails stay in my inbox without getting deleted?

Check the setting under your "View" menu.


You may have set it to show only messages from "last seven days" or alternatively if set to "Unread messages" then the message will disappear as soon as opened. Reset to "Messages" or "messages with Auto Preview" if this is the case.
 
You may also have AutoArchiving enabled. Right click on the folder and select 'Properties', then the 'AutoArchive' tab. If anything other than 'Do not archive items in this folder' option is selected, aeither disable or djust the options to suit.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. Percival you hit the nail on the head, it had been set to only show messages from the last 7 days!! Am delighted to have it fixed!
