I was amused that Mr Cowen was questioned about his drinking whereas his predecessor who was often associated with pints was never to my knowledge queried in this manner

There is too much focus on trivia.

Mr Cowen is far superior to the likes of Kenny + Ahern.

So why does the interview focus on the trivia?

This county needs a more leaner public sector.

We probably neeb another bench marking exercise.
