Moving House/Broadband Nightmare

Please, somebody help me, I'm slowly going mad. I'm moving house and am going round in circles trying to organise my broadband, (with U.TV for years, and delighted with the service may I add). They say they can't do anything until Eircom give me an account no. Eircom say they won't give me an account no. until I cancel U.TV. After much haranguing on the phone, they activated my new telephone no. in new house, but won't give me a final account for present house until I cease my sub to U.TV. U.TV say they can't organise broadband at new telephone no. until I provide the eircom a/c no. If anybody can make sense of this, I really would welcome your input, (preferably in very, very simple terms as I'm very feeble in the technical dept.) If anybody from U.TV is reading, please can you not just switch a lever or something and connect me?
