Moving from carers benefit to Allowance

Hi,I am moving from carers benefit which i have been on for the last two years and starting carers allowance no break between payments and i was wondering if anybody can tell me if i am entitled to the household benefits.I know it says from april 2012 new applicants for allowance must be living with the person which i am not.Am i considered a new applicant.Thanks for taking the time to reply
 
Hi foxylady thanks for the link but unfortunately it doesnt clarify about going from benefit to allowance without a break and whether that makes me a *NEW* applicant
