I need to move a caravan. It hasn't moved in over 15 years so I'm not sure if it would take to being towed if new tyres were put on it.

I don't care if it's destroyed.

Any ideas on easy methods?

Advertise it as "free to take away" on the likes of buyandsell.ie, jumbletown.ie or freecycle.ie?

Thanks but if it's not safe to be towed.... is it a case of me dismantling it into a skip, or would anybody be interested in taking it for scrap? I'm sure it aluminium.

Try ringing around a few metal merchants.

I wouldn't try to tow it. The bearings are likely to be seized and the hitch coupling might not be too hot either. If you get no takers for scrap, try a recovery truck.

I too need to get rid of a caravan. I can arrange to get it loaded onto a car trailer but any ideas on where I can bring it?????

Best to put a big pad lock on it with a sign saying, 'for sale'.

You`ll get up one morning and find it gone...
