motion sensor light won't turn off

Friend has a motion sensor light over front door which is stuck at on. He cannot find a fuse to remove to turn it off. Can any one advise. i did some research but no answers

It's probably wired in to another lighting circuit. Try the other trips in the consumer unit.

There are usually a couple of adjustable controls on the light unit to control the light sensitivity and duration of the lighting period. Give these controls a few turns to clean off the carbon tracks which sometimes gets dirty.
They are small but quite obvious sticking out from underneath the unit.
