Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced conveyancing solicitor in Galway?

We are in the process of selling our existing home and buying a new home.

I have received two quotes to date and both are €3,000 plus vat & outlay i.e. €1,500 per transaction.. I had hoped/expected for c.€1,000 plus vat and outlay per transaction, particularly given that its two transactions bundled together

Am I being unreasonable?

How about trying a solicitor not in the city, you might get a better quote. I would expect a reduced price for two transactions.

2500 is enough for two bundled transactions , i can recommend a solicitor outside the city if you wish to PM me , they charged me 1300 + vat + outlay earlier in the year for the sale of a property
