Following advices recevied here (Cheers) I shopped around with mortgage providers. Today, I've been offered a mortgage of 180K (103% of contract price) over 35 years, 3 years fixed at 4.69%. It's 3 year fixed as I've have a small outstanding loan with another institution. After the 3 years, there is a choice of rates and payments terms to be chosen from.
Any views on the rate?
