Hi there,

I am just wondering if I will be entitled to claim for M.I.S in the future.

I am currently employed, but will be going on maternity leave in 4 months. My husband is on illness benefit (approx e190 p.w) and I will be entitled to maternity benefit (approx e250 p.w). As no one in the household will be working, does anyone know if I would be entitled to claim M.I.S for the 6 month duration of my maternity leave?

Appreciate any advice!
 
I forgot to mention, I also have a 2 year old son. Not sure if that makes any difference!!
