Mortgage & Home insurance....one Policy??

We need to get mortgage protection before we can proceed with our mortgage.

I'm I right in saying that mortgage & life insurance are basically the same product?

Does anyone know of any companies that do mortgage/life & home insurance in one policy? Or would you need two seperate polices?

I have read other threads,but cannot find answer to this.

Mortgage Protection Life Assurance covers you in the event of death. Household insurance covers the house itself. You need two policies.
