Mortgage Cheque needs to go abroad

I hope this is the correct thread! :\

I am about to receive a mortgage cheque (equity release) from my bank in Ireland, and need this to be deposited into a Spanish bank account. Does anyone know the best (i.e. cheapest) way to do this?

You could try the "George Redmond", a method which is free of fees and commission....you just cash the cheque and hop on a plane carrying a bag of money and deposit it when you get there.
