Moisture Content for Floaing Timber Flooring

Can anyone please advise

I am in the process of drying the floors at the moment in a new build with underfloor heating.

When its finished drying the next step is tiling followed by installation of floating timber floors.

When I tile the bathrooms and kitchen I am concerned that this will increase the moisture content and will possibly cause problems with the wooden floors.

Is there a need for concern

Tiling shouldn't have a significant effect on adjacent floors, but you should test prior to laying the wooden floors. You can buy/hire moisture meters if you're putting the floor down yourself, otherwise your contractor should test. (Be wary of any flooring contractor who doesn't!)

You could always do the plastic test. Tape a piece of clear plastic to the floor. Next day, if there's condensation on the underside, your floors are still too damp.
