Mobile phone law whilst driving starts today

Was at the match in Dublin today. Had the "joy" of being in two different taxi's where both drivers spent a big part of the journey on their mobiles.

Was on a bus one day where driver was on mobile for 20 mins in rush hour traffic and proceeded to speed over the Santry fly-over whilst still chatting away...had visions of going off the bridge!!

I think this will be yet another new law brought in thats good in theory but will not be enforced ... like so many of our other laws.

The Garda in the car behind me on the way home from work was having a great chat on his mobile(no handsfree set)!

If there was someone in the car with you, you should have got them to take a pciture of it and send it into the late late show.

just back from a weekend "down the country". saw 1 cop car on my travels from dublin to athlone and back. enforcement? ha! who are they trying to fool?
