Mobile Home Insurance

Hi, could anyone advise me on the following please. My parents have a mobile home for holiday use, it is never rented out and insured full time. They have an insurance policy specifically for this, completely separate to their own house insurance (two different companies), I am trying to find out if it is possible to have a house policy with an option to cover a mobile home at a separate address, in effect one policy that covers both. Thanks for any advice.

Yes they can include their mobile home on to their house policy. Often by doing this it may work out cheaper as their discounts (age etc) may come off the total premium. Sometimes the cover on a combined policy is better than a standalone MH policy. Aviva, Zurich & RSA all provide this cover. Do a google search or talk to a good broker.
