I recently made an income tax return for the first time on Form 12 for 2011. I realised after that I had too small an amount in for medical expenses (€250) when it should have been €1950. I submitted the Med 1 with the correct amount, €1950. The cheque I submitted for 2011 liability and 2012 prelim tax has been cashed. Am I owed a refund and if so will it be forwarded automatically or should I follow up with revenue. Had not applied for my ROS password in time for deadline so submitted manually. Now I can't get into PAYE anytime either for previous years details.
All a bit new to me so sorry if a bit muddled.
