Minimum leave entitlement in a 6 or 8 month period (Irish Law)?

Just wandering if anyone can help me with this. I have been working for a company for 8 years and lost 2 seperate weeks leave while training and now will not have any leave for a period of 9 months. I have been told that In Irish law there is a limit of perhaps 6 or 8 months without leave. Can anyone confirm this and let me know where it is written down. Many thanks ......
 
Is this what you're referring to?

(3) The annual leave of an employee who works 8 or more months in a leave year shall, subject to the provisions of any employment regulation order, registered employment agreement, collective agreement or any agreement between the employee and his or her employer, include an unbroken period of 2 weeks.

It's taken from the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997 (section 19)
