We are heading up to Dublin next week for a night -will be getting in fairly late, so would like to jump in a taxi and head to dinner - any recommendations of relaxed, mid priced restaurants in town? (I did look at earlier threads, but they are all fairly old, so anything new? Improved?)
Thanks.

We recently got a gift of a night in The Dylan plus dinner, didn't think much of the hotel but the food was superb. There was a 3 course set menu for €35 - great value, I don't think this was early bird only but best to check.

what's mid-priced? what time is late?
le bon crubeen on talbot street is very nice, good value and very good quality.

Get the latest print of '100 best restuarants' book which is just out and available in most bookshops. Its less than 10€ and gives you loads of recommendations. From my experience, its fairly accurate assessment in most cases.

Second the recommendation for the Bon Crubeen in Talbot St. - also along that street is the 101 which I would recommend.

Yes, 101 good, also Rolys in Ballsbridge excellent but may be too far out for you.
