methalated spirits and parafin/kerosene

Are these items still available and if so where ?
I am trying to get an old blow torch back into working order.

Your local home heating oil distributor might havew a parafin pump at their depot ... that's where I get my fill up.
 
I bought methalated spirits from my local chemist, but had to sign some kind of form stating what it was being used for.
 
Chances are your central heating is run kerosene if you have OFCH. Check your last receipt. If so there you go. Meths from the chemist will be very expensive. Try your local hardware/ paint shop or most good outdoor pursuits store will stock meths. Where are you based, I might be able to suggest suppliers. Dave R
 
Saw a bottle of Meths. for sale in either Albany Home Decor, or Woodies, both in Castlebar, sorry I can't remember which.

I am in Cork so don't know if any are closer. Try the Outdoor Adventure Store in Liffey Street next time you are in the city.
