Membership software for sailing club

Hi,
Is anyone aware of shareware membership software for sailing clubs? I need something to track the membership list, boat registration fees etc.

I know a group of people setting up a software company.

They could build you a customised software package to
suit your requirements.

They would do it for free and then earn their money, by
selling the product to other sailing clubs.

They are doing a package for my brother at the moment and
he is very happy with their work.

I don't want to be ruining any potential business for abusernames friends but I would have thought all you need to track membership for a club is an excel spreadsheet, or an access database.

The fact you want to track sail numbers doesn't make it difficult.

As someone who has worked in IT for quite a while..I get wary when someone says "All you need to do is....."

I was just wondering if anyone had come accross a good piece of freeware.
