Medical expenses allowable - CT scan fall under diagnostic procedures category

Hello All,

Hoping to put through my medical expenses claim when I hear back from VHI and just checking to see if CT scans are allowed for tax relief? I had to pay €500 for a scan recently so not cheap. Does it fall under the category diagnostic procedures recommended by a practitioner?

Yes, I would consider so. I'm assuming that our doctor recommended the scan so you should be okay.
