Hi guys I have found myself out of home and living in a convent for the treatment of people with addiction issues. I have lots of mental and physical issues also and I'm receiving invalidity pension. 203.00euro per week.
The nuns at the convent require us to give the 100euro per week which they save for us for when we get well so as to secure accommodation.
My question is that my medical card is about to expire and I'm worried I might be over the threshold.
Do any of you people on here know of this is the case and will the department take this payment into consideration.
    Thank you.

Is your benefit your only income?

When applying for a medical card the word "household" income is used. Does that mean that a spouse's income is taken in to consideration when an individual/spouse without income applies for a card?
