med 1 and laser eye surgery

hi i recently completed med 1 for general medical expenses and included my laser eye surgery bill for 2009. Today I received a cheque for the smaller expenses but the big cost - laser eye surgery - not included in the refund. Has there been any change in the tax relief on it or could it be simply an error? Should I forward them a copy of the bill to prove I had it done? thanks

It was reduced to standard rate relief (20%) about two years ago, could that be it? If you don't think they're including it by accident, just call them to check.

thanks circle it was a miscalculation on the part of Revenue! Made a big difference to the cost of the treatment so delighted to get it back! This was an query relating to Irish medical refunds Marietta?
