maternity benefit after 1 month work

Hi there, I have been unemployed since 2009 but i worked most of 2008, finished work in oct 2008 due to maternity leave.

Im now due again in may and my question is i have been recently offered work for one morning a week by my last employer, but it would only be for a a month or so, would i be entitled to claim maternity benefit if I'm only working for a month prior to going on maternity leave.
 
As you are required to apply for MB 6 weeks in advance of the due date that may be difficult if your employment is for one month only. However they do not specify any length of time that you must be working to qualify.

Other option may be to apply for half-rate MB while on jobseekers. (I assume you are on JB for the days you are not working)
