Magazine subscription from UK, cheaper postal options??

Looking at a 13 issue subscription, £20 in UK, £65 to Ireland. I know and use Parcel Motel for parcels, but on 13 separate occasions it would be in or about the same cost. I've emailed Parcel Motel to see can they do anything.

Anyone any other ideas?

In general it has always annoyed me how ridiculous the differential in shops between Ireland and UK magazine and book prices. I know sterling is stronger and it costs something to transport it, but its way out of kilter - in the example above its more than 3 times the cost and that's even before any fx impact.

Considering getting the online version but its just not the same

Just rechecked, its £43 for UK (the £20 was for fewer issues). Still, Ireland at 150% of UK before fx

have your tried something like Zinio for a digital subscription? I use it for US mags and would never go back to paper copies for them
